NorDan at the Homebuilding & Renovating Show, NEC Birmingham
The Homebuilding and Renovating show at the NEC during March was NorDan Exeter’s first show with a custom exhibition stand designed specifically for NorDan UK. We were fortunate to have a fantastic team of NorDan staff to work on the stand to cover the four days of the show. This included Exeter staff, central UK staff and our team of Distributors. Having such a variety of staff available on the stand meant that we had experts in all areas and we were able to answer all the questions asked.
Working on the show stand is a fantastic experience. You get to work with your team, meet potential customers and most of all, talk passionately about a product you believe in. It was lovely to meet some clients who had already received quotes from NorDan and were coming to see the product and meet the staff. At times you may have even have found me entertaining children, so the parents could concentrate fully on their quote and explore the NorDan product!
NorDan was one of many window and door companies at the NEC show and despite the competition, we had a steady stream of interested people during opening hours and reached a record number of leads.
Our Distributors now have all the leads to follow up and start making relationships with potential customers. Every one of our Distributors received leads from the National show which we will now be monitoring to ensure these leads are converted into quotes and then sales, we even passed a couple of leads to Scotland from the show too, so it was certainly well attended.
My highlights from the show? This has to be the people I spent many days in Birmingham with. I got to know the NorDan team much better and learned from each and every one of them.
Being asked “why NorDan” is my favourite question! And being able to show people exactly “why NorDan” is what I love about my job.
