Pontoon Reach North Woolwich
We are excited to be working again with Redrow on the new Pontoon Reach Development supplying windows and doors throughout 295 new homes.
NorDan UK recently won the contract to supply products for the Pontoon Reach development, as part of a vast investment for the regeneration of the Royal Docks area in London. Designed by BUJ Architects and construction works being carried out by Redrow Homes, in partnership with Peabody Housing Association, the former brownfield site at Pontoon Reach will be home to 295 luxurious apartments over 13 storeys in height.
Construction on the site first began in November 2018 and is progressing at a fantastic rate. Available properties range from studio to three-bedroom apartments, featuring waterside views, landscaped communal gardens and cycle paths. There are also close transport links with London underground and mainline train networks, as well as being a stone’s throw from both the O2 Arena and Canary Wharf business district, making it one of the most desirable areas to invest in throughout the capital.
This project joins a collection of numerous other contract wins for NorDan in East London, including the likes of the Pontoon Docks project that is only 500 yards from the Pontoon Reach site, and also the Brunel Street Works development, which set a record as the single largest order taken in NorDan’s 90-year history surpassing over £5million.
NorDan is proud to have been awarded the contract for another significant development in the area and we are extremely grateful to Redrow for entrusting us with another one of their major developments. In Pontoon Reach, we will be supplying a range of products including TopTech windows, fixed lights and inward/outward opening balcony doors, all manufactured in a special Mars 2525 Sable finish. These alu-clad products provide exceptional weather resistance, high standards of both safety and security, making them ideal for a development of this scale where hassle-free maintenance is a key priority.
We look forward to seeing the project at Pontoon Reach approach completion over the next year.
