MD Craig Greenwood Celebrates 10 Years at NorDan UK
On May 1st, 2025, we celebrated with Craig Greenwood a major milestone—a decade with NorDan UK.
Over the last 10 years, Craig has been at the heart of the company’s journey through growth, transformation, and resilience, serving in a variety of senior roles before stepping into his current position as Managing Director in early 2024.
This anniversary is more than a milestone—it’s a chance to reflect on a journey of shared success and hard-won progress, while looking ahead with renewed purpose toward the future of NorDan UK.
A Journey Through Growth:
When NorDan acquired the majority share of CG Facades Ltd on 1st May 2015, it represented a pivotal moment for both Craig and the company. It was a significant and personal decision for him and his family, but in hindsight, it proved to be one of the most impactful moves for both his career and the long-term success of the business.
Since joining in 2015, Craig has played a key role across functions and regions—driving commercial growth, forging strategic partnerships, and becoming a trusted voice throughout NorDan UK and the wider group.
In 2024, Craig became Managing Director during a record year, with NorDan UK reaching £96.9 million in turnover—up 13% from 2023 and strengthening its market position. His 10-year journey with NorDan UK has spanned a turbulent decade for construction, - marked by economic shifts, regulatory reform, rising costs, inflation, labour shortages, and supply chain pressures.
At the same time, new standards of accountability and compliance have taken centre stage—most recently, with the introduction of the Building Safety Act (BSA). Regional support has been essential to thrive.
Despite these challenges, NorDan UK has remained both optimistic and proactive. “These aren't just roadblocks,” he says. “They’re turning points— and moments to adapt and evolve."
NorDan UK has embraced the challenge, establishing internal workstreams dedicated to navigating the BSA, supporting clients through complex submission processes, and ensuring early engagement becomes the norm.
Amidst all these external pressures, the COVID-19 pandemic remains a profound part of the story. “The pandemic was a business disruption, yes—but far more than that, it was a human tragedy. It reminded us of how fragile life is,”
Craig adds, “NorDan UK used the crisis to invest in people, upskill, and emerge stronger, more united. The result was not just a business that weathered the storm—it was a team that emerged stronger, more unified, and more purposeful.
Marking 10 years at NorDan UK is humbling. It’s not just about years served—it’s about the relationships built, the lessons learned, and the sense of shared purpose that makes this journey worthwhile.
