NorDan UK CEO, Alex Brown, to Step Down After 14 Years at the Helm
NorDan UK has announced that Alex Brown will step down from his role as CEO after 14 years of dedicated service.
The change marks an exciting moment for NorDan UK as Alex takes on a new role as a Non-Executive Chairman on the 1st January 2024.
Alex will hand over the leadership baton to colleague and current Commercial Director Craig Greenwood. Having originally joined the company in 2015, Greenwood brings almost 30 years of window industry experience to the role.
Reflecting on the change, Alex Brown said:
"After 14 years as Managing Director and nearly 35 years in Scandinavian windows and doors, I felt this was the right time to step down and take on some new challenges.
“I'm incredibly proud of what my colleagues and I have achieved in the UK and take great satisfaction in knowing I have given my all, leaving this fantastic company in a stronger position than ever. Everything is in place for further growth and success.
"The NorDan UK talent management programme and world-class company growth, achieved through a clear vision and solid values, are some of my proudest achievements.
“Over the next four months I will work closely with Craig and colleagues to ensure a smooth transition that offers continuity for our valued customers. I then look forward to exploring new routes to market and continuing to contribute to NorDan's success in this exciting new chapter."
Alex's legacy extends beyond NorDan UK, as he served on the Group Board of Directors, the Board of NorDan Poland, and the Board of NorDan Ireland, contributing to the broader success of the NorDan Group.
