From 25 May 2018, all European countries will have a new common law for the processing of personal data: The Data Protection Ordinance. The purpose of the new legislation is to strengthen the protection of individuals' personal data.

The most important changes to the Data Protection Ordinance are that you have the right to request rectification, deletion or access to your personal data. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and to limit the processing of it.

Examples of personal data are names, pictures, contact details, social security numbers, etc. We ensure that your personal information is always protected by us, and that the processing complies with both data protection rules, internal guidelines and routines. You have the right to request extracts with your personal information and your personal data will never be stored longer than is reasonably necessary for the purpose.

Therefore, we have routines and systems to protect your personal information. We ensure that only those persons who process your personal information have access to these.

As general information, we have described below your rights under GDPR.

Whichever information a company has saved about you, you should always be able to control your own data. Therefore, according to current data protection legislation, you have access to the following rights.

Right of access ("register extract").
You can request extracts from registered personal information and verify the information a company has about you. You also get information about the purpose of the personal data and the storage period.

Right to rectification.
You are entitled to have incorrect or non-complete information about yourself corrected

Right to be deleted.
You are entitled to request that your personal data be deleted if it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected. A company is entitled to deny the removal of personal data if there are legal obligations, such as accounting and money laundering legislation.

Right to data portability.
If the company's right to process your personal data is based on your consent or for the purpose fulfill an agreement with you, you may be entitled to obtain the data in a machine-readable format for the purpose of reusing it with another company. This applies primarily to data that you have supplied yourself.

Right to object to certain usage.
You are always entitled to refrain from marketing and to object to such processing of personal data based on a legitimate conflict of interest.

Right to limit processing of personal data
You may restrict the processing of your personal data if you consider that they are incorrect.
