NorDan Prepare for Expansive Aberdeen Growth
NorDan UK’s Aberdeen branch will soon be welcoming two long-standing employees to their Board of Directors. Barbara Massie and Calum Sinclair have both recently been promoted as part of an overall restructuring to accommodate for Aberdeen’s vast growth within the UK market.
The announcement comes as a direct result of the record turnover that NorDan Aberdeen have experienced from 2017-2018, throughout the North of Scotland, with a further 25% projected over the next three years. We are extremely excited to be further expanding NorDan Aberdeen and welcoming Barbara and Calum onto the Board of Directors, where their years of experience and extensive skillsets will be most welcome.
The decision to add Barbara and Calum onto the Board comes as a result of the brand’s success in the region, as NorDan Aberdeen has experienced over 60% growth in their number of employees since January 2016, whilst continuing to invest in training and cultivating the existing team.
"NorDan are delighted to support the development of our own people. This has led to two of our longest serving, loyal employees coming through the ranks to join the Board, which will support the continued growth of the business"
– Gordon Mitchell, Regional Director of NorDan Aberdeen
NorDan UK are manufacturers of Scandinavian designed windows and doors. The branch’s placement in the North of Scotland is a perfect choice as the nearby homes and businesses require robust, reliable products that can cope with the often-harsh weather. As NorDan products are designed to hold up against the most unforgiving of Scandinavian weather conditions, this makes them perfectly suited for coastal environments such as Shetland, Orkney and the Western Isles, where resilience, insulation and minimal maintenance are essential.
Barbara and Calum will embark on their new positions in January of 2020. Everyone at NorDan UK would like to extend our congratulations to them both and we look forward to having them in their new roles within the NorDan family.
