Joanne McGhee promoted to Operations Director!

We develop our team and individual employees are seen as role models within the business. Nobody knows windows and doors like we do, and our core values of people, honesty and collaboration run throughout our team in all departments.
Our latest internal promotion is that of Joanne McGhee. Joanne has 20 years’ experience within the construction industry, specialising in windows and doors. She had been with NorDan previously from 1998-2008, and then joined the company again in 2017 as Project Manager. Her commitment, work ethic and can-do attitude led her to receive the recent promotion to Operations Director – a challenge that Joanne is excited to take on.
Joanne started working in the window and door industry when she left school at the age of 17, alongside attending college to study Business Administration and Management. Her interest in management continued throughout her studies and career, and working within the management team has always been an aspiration of hers. Over her career she has gained a range of qualifications including Prince 2, alongside vital practical experience and working knowledge of the industry. She is specifically skilled in negotiation, procurement, key account & contract management, and project planning. Joanne’s experience, qualifications and skills made her a perfect candidate for her new role of Operations Director.
Joanne says the people in NorDan combined with its family-run business culture makes it a great place to work. She thoroughly enjoys the mentoring aspect of her role, and supports her colleagues wherever possible to exceed customer expectations. Joanne is excited to be working on challenging and prestigious projects with key clients within the PRS Market. She has already worked on many of our key projects including Exchange Square, Manchester New Square, and is heading up the supply and fit team (new division).
Joanne explained what the promotion means to her:

This will be an extremely challenging role within the organisation and an exciting place to be as we have great aspirations as we enter into the Subcontract Supply and Install Market.
