Pontoon Docks
NorDan are absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Pontoon Docks development in East London, having been selected to supply windows and doors for three new buildings.
Main contractors, Bouygues, are working to deliver 154 new high-quality private rented homes and 82 affordable homes for rental or shared ownership across three fourteen story buildings. This is one of London’s leading developments that is designed specifically for rental occupiers.
The new buildings are designed by Assael Architecture and will form a new gateway to the Thames Barrier Park. The park is London’s first largely post-modern designed park and the first riverside park to be built in London for over 50 years.
Nordan supplied composite windows and balcony doors for the client Grainger Plc. These products have a sixty-year life expectancy and are also low maintenance meaning hassle free ownership for the occupants.
The project also includes new shops, landscaping and improved access to the Thames Barrier Park. Residents living here will be able to enjoy great views across the River Thames, the park and the Royal Docks. Apartments are due to open later this year.
